What "sale" and "sharing" mean

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, and similar state laws, a "sale" is disclosing personal information to a third party for money or other valuable consideration. "Sharing" is disclosing personal information to a third party for cross-context behavioral advertising, meaning ads based on your activity across different websites.

What we share and with whom

When you browse https://abyssandfin.com, cookies and similar technologies from Google Ads and Google Analytics may collect online identifiers, device and browser information, and how you interact with our pages. This activity may be considered "sharing".

We do not share your name, email address, shipping address or payment information for advertising.

Service providers

Some partners process information only on our behalf to run the store: PayPal (payments), DigitalOcean Spaces (file and image storage), OpenAI (on-site product search), Telegram (internal order notifications), our email service provider, and shipping carriers (USPS, UPS, FedEx, DHL). These disclosures are not a sale or sharing of your personal information.

How to opt out

You can opt out in either of these ways:

You do not need an account, and we do not require identity verification to process an opt-out. We will only decline a request if we have a good-faith, documented reason to believe it is fraudulent, and if so we will tell you why.

When your opt-out takes effect

We act on opt-out requests within 15 business days of receiving them. We will also notify the parties to whom we disclosed your personal information during that period that you have opted out.

Authorized agents

You may use an authorized agent to submit an opt-out or other privacy request for you. The agent must provide written authorization signed by you.

Global Privacy Control

Our website does not currently detect or respond to Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signals. To opt out, please email us or use the form on this page.

After you opt out

Once you opt out, we will not ask you to opt back in for at least 12 months.

Consumers under 16

We do not sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16 without prior opt-in consent. Consumers aged 13 to 15 may give that consent themselves; for children under 13, consent must come from a parent or guardian. Our site is not directed to children.

Sensitive personal information

We do not collect sensitive personal information, so there is no need for a "Limit the Use of My Sensitive Personal Information" link.

Your other privacy rights

You may also ask to know, access, delete or correct the personal information we hold about you. We respond to these requests within 45 days, and may extend this by a further 45 days when needed, with notice to you. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.

Appeals

If we decline your request, you can appeal by emailing [email protected] with the subject line "Privacy Appeal". We respond to appeals within 60 days. If you disagree with the outcome, you may contact your state Attorney General.

No discrimination

We will not deny you goods, charge you different prices or provide a different level of service because you exercised your privacy rights.
